A Multi-Million Donation by The Pokémon Company
In a press release issued today, The Pokemon Company announced a donation of several million dollars to several associations. Associations whose work is mainly focused on supporting children, using the creation of equitable communities or a combination of both. On its official website, The Pokemon Company explained his choice as follows:
The Pokémon Company International has taken the opportunity to return the warm welcome to communities since its first introduction. Pokémon is a brand that has been spreading joy and capturing the imaginations of children around the world for 25 years now. With its universal themes such as friendship, adventure and perseverance, it has also been welcomed by a diverse fan community across different countries around the world. We are committed to leveraging this ability to make it a positive force in children’s lives and to create a fairer, more inclusive world in which we can all thrive.
The Pokémon Company International has unveiled a five-year plan to support organizations that improve the lives of children around the world and social equity.

The Pokémon Company: which associations have been chosen?
In his press release, The Pokemon International Company goes into more detail on how this gift works: 25 million dollars will be distributed over five years to various associations which, as mentioned above, are dedicated to helping children or inclusiveness. If the associations have already been chosen by The Pokemon Company (below, the list), some groups will also be able to donate products from Pokémon Center or even collectible cards:
The donation of the game in the form of donations by Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon Center products will complete our commitment and will be distributed to groups capable of distributing games and games to families of children in need. Each organization is designated as a long-term partner year after year for a period of five years.
