The prognosis Canalturf.com
Quinté+ on Sunday at Deauville in the Darley Prix des Greniers à Sel, a divided handicap first class 2 level event (ref. +21), over 2000 meters, for entire horses, geldings and mares of 4 years old and above who have raced since February 21, 2022 inclusive. The ground is announced as good soft to good by France Galop. Position of the curb at the finish line: 6 meters. PLAIN FLOUR (our photo) seems big enough to show the strongest pus.
6 PLAIN FLOUR : On heavy ground, this son of Le Havre finished second in a Quinté+ at Deauville in August 2020 and third in a Quinté+ at Saint-Cloud in November 2021. After his comeback on June 3 at Compiègne, he is ranked third in a race under Class 3 conditions on July 1 at Clairefontaine-Deauville. That day, the ground was good soft and he finished very quickly. It’s our favorite.
11 FR OR : This year at Saint-Cloud, it was ranked fourth in the Quinté+ of April 18 and won that of May 17, over 2100 meters on good soft ground. On Sunday, his trainer gives him the blinkers he has not worn since October 27, 2021. In 35 of value, he is competitive for a place on the podium.
9 RONALDO : Recently, it only finished eighth in a Quinté+ at Deauville, but on psf. It returns to a surface on which it finished third in Quinté+ on 17 July at Chantilly and 12 June & 2 June at ParisLongchamp. Horse of good ground, it should still fight for the very first places.
12 TREBUCO : Only eighth in Quinté+ of July 31 at Clairefontaine-Deauville, over 2400 meters, it is better than that. On June 19, he placed second in a Class 2 handicap over 2000 meters at Chantilly. And on June 2, it finished fourth in a Quinté+ at ParisLongchamp, over 1850 meters. Watch out for him!
5 SHAMSABAD : A 7-year-old gelding very confirmed in handicaps of this kind, he has just proved his form by finishing second in a race under Class 3 conditions over 3000 meters on July 16 at Saint-Cloud. On June 27 at Lyon-Parilly, it finished fourth in a Quinté+ at Lyon-Parilly, over 2000 meters. He has his say for a place.
8 IRISH STREET : This year, it finished second, seventh, fifth and third in Quinté+ at the racecourses of Saint-Cloud, ParisLongchamp and two more times Saint-Cloud. On paper, this is a possibility for a nice allowance.
13 MY KURKUM : For his fourth outing of the year, this 4-year-old gelding took an encouraging fourth place with a Class 3 handicap over the 1600 meters of the Deauville straight. He was making a small comeback that day and will probably make progress this Sunday. With Maxim Guyon as a jockey, it is advisable to be wary of it for a small place.
2 Baikal : In Quinté+ of 28 April at ParisLongchamp, it had finished sixth, inserting itself between Chamsabad and Irish Street. In 39 of value, it has no margin, but at the end of a tailor-made course, it has the means to grab a fourth or fifth place.
