Ajaccio-Lens: 0-0
A week after a rather crazy match against Brest (3-2 victory), the Lensois did not experience the same success at the François-Coty stadium. Faced with a tight block, Franck Haise’s players trampled on a very damaged lawn, without ever managing to break the lock (0-0).

Jewel of Messi, incorrigible Lopes and festive atmosphere: the tops and flops of the 1st day

Apart from a few meager attempts (30th, 67th) the Lensois bombers were little in sight, including Florian Sotoca, author of a hat-trick on the first day. The Lensois are 5th. Ajaccio gets its first point of the season and ranks 14th.
- What we remember: Intractable in Ligue 2, the iron defense of the ACA will be its main weapon for maintenance.
Reims-Clermont: 2-4
Thrashed on the first day, respectively by Marseille (4-1) and PSG (0-5), Reims and Clermont hoped to get their heads back in place this Sunday, at Auguste-Delaune. The Champenois seemed on track to unlock their counter, but it was the Auvergnats who succeeded, after a stunning scenario (2-4).
The locals had made the break before the half hour thanks to two penalties, transformed by Kamori Doumbia (23rd) and Folarin Balogun (30th). The expulsion of Emmanuel Agbadou, guilty of having annihilated a goal opportunity (47th), however, changed everything. Komnen Andric (51st sp, 62nd) scored twice, then Muhammed Saracevic (72nd) and Jérémie Bela (78th) offered victory to CF63, who perfectly exploited his numerical superiority.
- What we remember: Recruited to assume the heavy succession of Mohamed Bayo, Komnen Andric is already responding. In the most beautiful way.

Troyes-Toulouse: 0-3
Promoted this season, Toulouse remained in 19 Ligue 1 matches without a single victory. A terrible series which ended this Sunday, in Troyes (0-3). Established in place of Nathan Ngoumou, injured, Moroccan winger Zakaria Aboukhlal was the great architect of the success of the Violets, provoking the goal against his camp by Yasser Larouci (36th) then serving Rafael Ratao on a plateau (54th ). Arranged in a 5-4-1 supposed to limit spaces, the Aube formation played too low and displayed serious defensive shortcomings, exploited by Rhys Healey at the end of the game (85th). The coup de grace for ESTAC.
- What we remember: Second defeat in a row, copious whistles from the stands, hostile chants against Bruno Irles: there is already fire in the Trojan house.

Auxerre-Angers: 2-2
Ten years later, the public of Abbé-Deschamps reconnected with the joys of a Ligue 1 meeting, this Sunday. The AJA first honored the reunion with the elite, via a first quarter of an hour of fire. A goal from Julian Jeanvier (4th), a csc from Cédric Hountondji (10th) and the Auxerrois quickly made the break.
But achievements by Loïs Diony (22nd) and Amine Salama (77th) upset the locals, held in check by a reactionary SCO (2-2). All the more frustrating for Jean-Marc Furlan’s players as Mathias Autret almost signed a jewel, with a shot from 50 meters, which they continued to play, ten against eleven (red from Lassine Sinayoko in the 57th ) and that Gauthier Hein was denied the goal of 3-1, for a fault occurred earlier in the action.
- What we remember: It is not yet crowned with success, but Auxerre is not back in Ligue 1 to play it small arm.
