At 12, little Gabriel was so distraught to see his father giving himself trouble in his restaurant in Loire-Atlantique that he took the initiative and contacted the M6 ​​broadcast. A request that moved Philippe Etchebest.

“Dad smiles less”

Gabriel’s father is Raphaël, 48 years old. Jovial in appearance, he is the manager of a working-class establishment which was a hit when it opened but is now encountering difficulties. The man does not pay himself a salary, is in debt and no longer manages to run his restaurant. A fact observed by the child: “Before it worked well, dad did a lot of cutlery. Now he does a lot less. Since the restaurant stopped working, I find that dad is less happy than before. He smiles less. We used to go play but now we don’t do anything. On weekends we stay at home, we do nothing. I would like to find it as it was before”he explained in front of the chef before specifying in front of the camera.
