Game News God of War Ragnarok: the announcement of the release date would have been postponed, but any news still planned for today?
It is certainly one of the most anticipated games of the year. God of War: Ragnarok is long overdue and even if it is still planned for this year, it seems that the announcement of its release date is not planned for right away.

God of War Ragnarok: anything new around the release date?
For a week, players have been feverishly awaiting the date of June 30. For good reason, an insider recently reputed to never be wrong then posted a gif of Kratos stating the numbers 11110. After a quick investigation, the video game sphere then concluded that an announcement for the release date of War: Ragnarok was to be held on June 30: 11110 meaning the number 30 in binary. A conclusion perhaps hasty but which had the merit of being held. On this subject, Jason Schreier confirmed today on Twitter that an announcement was supposed to take place today but was pushed back:
On God of War Ragnarok Rumors: As of just recently, there was indeed a release date announcement slated for Thursday, June 30, by people familiar. Recent tweets from Cory Barlog suggest this is no longer happening. Still, as far as I know, the game hasn’t been delayed yet.

Regarding the rumors around God of War Ragnarok: there was indeed an announcement of the release date scheduled for this Thursday, June 30, according to people familiar with the matter. Recent tweets from Cory Barlog (game director, editor’s note) imply that it has been pushed back. That said, as far as I can tell, the game hasn’t been pushed back.
In his statement, the Bloomberg journalist mentions a[tweetdeCoryBarlogd’hiersoirIldéclareque”[tweetdeCoryBarlogd’hiersoirIldéclareque”[tweetdeCoryBarlogd’hiersoirIldéclareque”[tweetdeCoryBarlogd’hiersoirIldéclareque”if it was up to him, he would share everything he knows but it’s not up to him“. He then asks the players to be patient. That being said, he firmly stated that the game was not postponed:
Why don’t you all keep telling us that Ragnarok is delayed so we can move on and seriously plan for the rest of the year, it’s getting frustrating

Why don’t you tell us that Ragnarok is pushed back so that we can move on and plan for the rest of the year, seriously it’s getting frustrating.
Because it is not.
Any news though?
If it therefore seems that the players will not have official news from the continuation of the adventures of Kratos and Atreus, other insiders are teasing the day in their own way. This is the case of Tom Henderson, known for his many sources around FPS such as Call of Duty or Battlefield, whose tweet evokes God of War Ragnarok:
So it looks like the God of War Ragnarok announcement has been pushed back, but I think we’ll hear the details by the end of the day anyway. 🙂 pic.twitter.com/GWrHf2sNhc

Well, it seems that the announcement around God of War: Ragnarok has been postponed, but I think we will have something new at the end of the day anyway .
On this subject, he adds that this information should not fall through official channels: implied, unofficial sources (of which he would be a part) would have details to share during the day.
