Game News Gamescom 2022: the presence of the 1st DLC of Dying Light announced with a teaser that beats!
Gamescom 2022 is fast approaching and, while publishers are preparing their stands near Cologne in German and Geoff Keighley is setting up his Opening Night Live, various announcements are being made!
Some publishers are content to announce that they will participate when the largest European trade fair returns to physical activity, other teaser announcements that are going to be done, while a final group clearly indicates what we can expect.

Dying Light 2: the first DLC will infect gamescom’s Opening Night Live!
Striking Distance for example, the studio behind The Callisto Protocol, has clearly indicated that we will be entitled to a new gameplay footage featuring Glen Schofieldfounder of the studio and “father” of Dead Space. Techland will do the same, since we have just learned that Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be present during the Opening Night Livethe evening of announcements preceding the opening of the show, but goes further by offering a first teaser of the content that will be presented.
And this content is not the least, since it will be Bloody Ties, Dying Light 2’s first scripted DLC. You may know this, but Techland intends to release a ton of content for its game, with new events, weapons, gear, new characters, new quests, and plumper DLC. This first important scripted DLC is therefore one of the first big bricks of the follow-up of the gamewhich has already received a lot of additional content.
A first teaser to keep us waiting
We know very little at the moment about this DLC, which will be detailed on August 23 at night during Opening Night Live, but we have this first teaser, which shows a skull with horns made of bits of metal attached to it, and through which we can see a character fiercely fighting an infected. This video is accompanied by a short description, which tells us:
What dangers await you? How can you overcome them? What rewards can you get? One thing is certain… it will be brutal! But remember: this is just a taste of what Carnage Hall is really about. Get ready for an even bigger adrenaline rush and excitement when we reveal more during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live on August 23rd!
For the moment, no release date has been mentioned for this first Bloody Ties DLC, but we know that it should arrive in September. In the meantime, let’s remember that more than 400 people worked on the title of Techland, and that the success was there with more than 5 million copies sold since the launch on February 4th.
