One of the LunchPlay star games of 2018 is available in the Game Pass. And with him, the bad shots will fuse. In this fighting game where up to four players can compete, warriors must fight to survive in colorful worlds full of traps. The originality of the software is based on its maneuverability after all, players can cling to other players as well as to the scenery thanks to the triggers. With the rather precise physics engine, situations quickly become hilarious. Driven by a fun and effective concept, Gang Beasts is one of those ideal titles for an evening with friends. Without the headache, but with catches.
Golf with your friends
Golf With Your Friends is a mini-golf game allowing you to compete against your friends locally. What more can we say except that it offers varied levels with multiple rules that complicate the tests, and that the names of birds quickly fuse? Golf With Your Friends is an extremely friendly game with simple, immediately understandable rules. It is perfectly designed for playing with people who are not necessarily used to video games, even if the frustration linked to certain parts could put them off over the long term.
Halo The Master Chief Collection
By putting the first four adventures of the Master Chief in the same box, Halo: The Master Chief Collection becomes one of the best titles to experience in cooperation with your friends. The episodes of the collection, technically improved, are all playable in local cooperation. However, the number of players may vary from one episode to another (two players maximum in split screen on Halo 3 and Halo 4, for example). Fans know how much fun it is to go through the levels of the Silent Cartographer, the Halo Delta, or even the Covenant Alliance with several people. With its many multiplayer modes and its extensions (Reach, ODST), the MCC is a piece of choice for fans of FPS in coop. If you love the universe, hundreds of hours of gameplay and fun await you.
Thanks to EA Play included in Game Pass Ultimate (or directly in Game Pass PC), the latest episode of FIFA is playable for subscribers to the Microsoft service. It’s up to you to play together with your favorite teams, whether in the biggest stadiums in the world or on the streets thanks to the Volta mode. We remind you that FIFA 22 is a title with pleasant gameplay boosted by Hypermotion technology which offers more precise duels, new animations and realistic ball trajectories (on Xbox Series in any case). It’s time to warn the neighbors that there will be a racket… and bad faith.
The latest game crafted by The Coalition is packed with content to share with others. The Gears 5 campaign, first of all, is playable up to three players locally. The adventure turns out to be of high quality and will certainly provide intense moments for your squad. Eager to include an audience that is not used to cover shooters, the studio had the good idea to make Jack, the flying robot, playable. Beginners can thus accompany the pros of the pad without losing too many feathers. Our little advice: do not hesitate to try the Hivebusters add-on which is a compendium of everything we love in Gears of War. Finally, Gears 5 offers a Horde mode and welcomes Escape mode.
It takes two
Although the very nice A Way Out is also available in Game Pass Ultimate (via EA Play), it is the awesome It Takes Two that we are highlighting. Designed by Hazelight Studios, company founded by Josef Fares, It Takes Two offers two players an animated epic full of mini-games and funny sequences. As two parents unwittingly turned into rag dolls by their daughter, players must work together to win. Ingenious in what it offers, varied in its situations, It Takes Two won the Game of the Year 2021 award at the Game Awards.
Ha, summer. This sun, this festive atmosphere… an ideal moment to lose all your friends! Who doesn’t know Overcooked? The principle is simple: in a kitchen, small cooks led by the players try to prepare dishes in situations more wacky than each other. Cutting, cooking and now blending, it would all be simple… if it weren’t for the pitfalls like conveyor belts and ravines! The title published by Team17 is even more fun than the first thanks to its various new features. But be careful, it can destroy couples.
Windjammers 2 is the logical continuation of the episode released in 1994 with new characters, new mechanics and a whole bunch of advantages. We find this immediately understandable gameplay inspired by Pong where on a two-dimensional field, the players face each other and must score points by sending the frisbee into the opposing goals. The easy grip does not close the door to neophytes while the added shots provide an additional strategic layer for high-level game enthusiasts. A good 1v1 game that’s both accessible and strategic, with arcade fun just the way we like it.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
A love letter to the beat ’em ups of the 16-bit generation, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is based on excellent gameplay and masterful production. Beautiful, colorful, well animated and accompanied by catchy music, the title of Tribute Games will delight fans of the famous turtles. Thanks to its dodging system, it is more accessible than a Streets of Rage 4 and could appeal to people who are not used to the genre. Regarding the strictly multiplayer aspect, the game has the good idea to be playable up to six in local cooperation. Which is rare enough to be underlined.
