This Monday, two years before the start of the Paris Olympics, the organizers made several announcements concerning the ticketing of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. First deadline next December, places from 24 euros… Here is everything you need to know if you want to attend this planetary event.

The organizers of Paris 2024 promise to “meet the expectations of spectators from all walks of life, from France and around the world, families, young people, enthusiasts or simply curious people who say to themselves ‘I want to be there'”. This Monday, new announcements were made about ticketing for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games (July 26-September 8), exactly two years and one day before the opening ceremony.

How many tickets are available?

In all, 13 million tickets will be offered for all of these Games. In detail, 10 million will be put on sale for the Olympic Games and more than three million for the Paralympic Games. “Paris 2024 wishes to give everyone the opportunity to live the unique experience of the Games in Paris, in Île-de-France and everywhere in France, by offering an accessible price list, which allows them to achieve their objectives in terms of budgetary”, assure the organizers.

At what prices?

Although the general public ticket price grid will be unveiled in its entirety at the end of the year, the organizers already ensure that nearly one million tickets will be offered at €24 and that all the sports on the program Games will be affected by this tariff. “Almost 50% of general public tickets will be priced at or below €50. And almost a third of general public tickets for the ‘Games finals’ will be priced at or below €100” , continues the organization. The prices of single tickets will range from €24 to €950 (excluding the ceremony). More than 90% of the tickets are also offered at a price less than or equal to €200.

Packs of three sessions, which spectators will be able to compose “tailor-made” from a list of many sports (for example an athletics-rugby-handball pack) will also be offered from 72 euros. These packs will be available from February 2023.

When does the ticket office open?

Something to remember: the official launch of the ticket office will take place in December 2022 with the opening of registrations by draw. The first draw will take place at the end of January-beginning of February 2023, while the sale of single tickets will begin in May, as will tickets for the Olympic ceremonies. For the Paralympics, tickets will go on sale in the fall of 2023.
