Game News Cyberpunk 2077 gets even closer to GTA with this new mod
If the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 may have disappointed some players at the time of its release, especially those who expected a more permissive and “GTA-like” experience, we can always count on modders to shape the title of our dreams. Today, it is a feature that will delight many fans that is made available on Nexus Mods.
Ugly but not too much

Cyberpunk 2077 caused a lot of ink to flow when it was released. Awaited with great fanfare by the public, CD Projekt RED’s game divided a large part of the community, in particular because of its PS4 and Xbox One console version, which was simply unplayable at the time of its publication.

But it is also on the side of the gameplay that the game could disappoint. Several players who expected a more permissive experience like a game like Grand Theft Auto Where Saints Row were not seduced by the proposal of Cyberpunk 2077. If the software has the world of outlaws as a backdrop, it ultimately presents itself as a fairly limited Action-RPG in terms of “gangster-sim“.

While CD Projekt RED has now partly rectified the defects of its title with the New-Gen versionthe studio has obviously not distorted its original gameplay which is an integral part of its initial vision. In fact, some may still regret many features inherited from a genre that is not that of Cyberpunk 2077, but which could surely contribute to everyone’s immersion. In this case, do not panic!
As things are well done, modders regularly share additions capable of satisfying everyone’s desires. If you want to be a merc capable of all the baseness to lead the life you dream of, the following mod is for you.

What’s yours is mine
In Cyberpunk 2077, V is a mercenary who will do anything to make a name for himself in the mobster world. In this context, you therefore have the possibility of doing a lot of illegal things, such as shooting at everything that moves, blowing up half of the city or even stealing cars… but not to keep them. A feature whose absence remains as frustrating as it is curious, especially in a world full of advanced technologies in which appropriating someone’s vehicle would be child’s play.
But that was before ! The days of pedestrian crime are now over thanks to the mod Claim vehicles offered on Nexus Mods. PC players now have the ability to steal any vehicle in the game and make it their property. The icing on the cake, the modder behind Claim Vehicles even allowed himself to accompany it with a little background to contribute to the Roleplay :
In the mid-21st century, crime in Night City reached unimaginable levels. A large number of bylaws have been put in place to counter this problem. Among them, the Lawful Appropriation and Impoundment Order 2055 allowed law enforcement to immediately appropriate any vehicle suspected of having any connection to a crime.
The NCLAIMS system simplifies this process by transferring a vehicle’s identifier to an NCPD-managed fleet and allows law enforcement officers to call a vehicle at any time and place. V can now use NCLAIMS to register stolen vehicles and call them when needed.
