Episode 942
At the campsite, Blamont falls from the stepladder. Enric helps him and makes sure he’s okay. Blamont complains of having a sore neck. Stuck, he has no choice but to go to the doctor, much to Gary’s chagrin.
Today, it’s been a year since Elisabeth and Alain met. Elisabeth has reserved a table for the occasion in a starred restaurant. Alain, for his part, had forgotten this anniversary date. He calls Janet from his vehicle and begs her to find him a replacement for her shift tonight, but it’s going to be complicated. Alain is annoyed and hangs up. He sees at the last moment a pedestrian crossing in front of his car. He stops in time, but this pedestrian who is none other than Blamont fell all alone. Blamont tricks Alain into thinking he was knocked down. Alain proposes to examine it. Blamont refuses to let him touch him. Alain decides to leave and Blamont takes a picture of his car’s number plate.
Blamont has a 3-day certificate of ITT (Temporary incapacity for work for displacement of vertebrae). He wants to trap Alain and make people believe that these ITT days are his fault. That’s why he asks Gary for Master Levars’ phone number. And to convince him, he threatens to contact occupational medicine. Gary gives in.
At the hospital, Alain tells Janet about his misadventure and laments having a bad day. But Janet has good news for him: one of his colleagues has had his colloquium cancelled, and he can therefore take care of him.
Blamont got an appointment with Serge Levars. He makes him believe that a driver knocked him down and refused to report. Serge Levars assures him that he did well to come and see him. He also intends to armor his case to obtain substantial damages. Serge Levars asks Blamont to go to the police station first to file a complaint and give the police the photo of the license plate. He asks her to then go to another doctor who will be happy to detail her health problems. He will draw up a new certificate which will insist on the seriousness of the physical damage he has suffered.
Dr. Alphand and Elisabeth are about to go out to the restaurant when Alain receives a call from the police station informing him that a complaint has been filed against him.
The beginning of trouble for Jacques Moore

Léonor is hurt that her ex-husband wants to start a family with Myriam. Summoned to the police station, Alain is heard by Akim and Brigadier Valois. Thierry informs Dr. Alphand that the individual he knocked down the day before, Valéry Blamont, has filed a complaint against him. Alain assures the two police officers that at no time did he touch him. Then, he tells the two policemen what happened, but Blamont does not have the same version as him. On leaving his police station, Alain tells his companion why he was summoned. Elisabeth is convinced that her companion has come across a manipulator who will manage to ask her for maximum damages. She advises Alain to call Guilhem, but he doesn’t want to be represented by his ex. He makes an appointment at the last minute with Florent, but the latter is detained in court. Claudine offers Alain to ensure his defense especially since Florent is overwhelmed. Alain is embarrassed vis-à-vis Florent, but the latter confirms to him later that he is overwhelmed with files.
