Happy to see that the production of Rare is doing well, and even better and better, the announcement of the busy program for this year 2022 had to reassure them all the more. By the end of the year, Sea of Thieves will welcome three more seasons and, while waiting for season 7 supposed to start in June 2022, Rare continues the epic adventures unfolding by launching the last part of a magical journey, The Shrouded Deep.
For the next three weeks, all buccaneers in need of treasure will be able to experience the third and final adventure of the narrative arc that began with this sixth season. Until May 12, in this case, The Shrouded Deep will continue the events that took place during Fortresses of the Forgotten. The clues to Captain Flameheart’s relic are growing, and the Veil of the Ancients is now within reach. However, one last test awaits you since you will not have to survey the seas, but the stomach of a Megalodon!
A new legend to discover
Admittedly, the adventure is coming to an end, but the Pirate Legends have the right to a little extra surprise! A new quest, split into three parts and which follows The Shrouded Deep, invites them to give a little help to the Pirate Lord, in order to awaken the power of a mysterious mask. For this, the crew will have to set sail for the Sea of Thieves to gather the Veil Stones.
Small subtlety introduced by Rare, this unique journey is, in fact, not a unique experience since it will be possible to replay it several times, in particular because of the random system applied to the first two parts of the expedition. What counts is the journey and the moments lived, and not the finality, isn’t it? Note that the event, long awaited by the community, had been detailed at length by the development teams during a video presentation (to be found above) and that you can get back into the swing of things thanks to this little tweak developers.
