Game news Nintendo Switch: many NES games would have leaked, here is the list

The Nintendo Switch Online may have recently integrated Nintendo 64 and SEGA Mega Drive games, titles from the NES should continue to land. A crisp leak allows us to imagine many releases planned by the Japanese manufacturer.

Castlevania, Pac-Man, Tetris: great classics in perspective

If you’re a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber and still been asking for new NES games despite the dozens of titles already available, then the following lines should delight you. A user has just recovered a leaked edition of the emulator used for Nintendo Switch Online, dating from 2019 and thought of as a “master version”: in other words, it includes all the NES games (or at least a large part of them) that were then scheduled for release at that time.

In the heap, there are indeed many titles already released in recent years (which adds real credibility to the document) as well as others, still not available but who therefore have a real chance of offering themselves in the future. We see in particular:

  • Pac man
  • Tetris
  • Galaga
  • Most of mega man
  • Castlevania
  • Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
  • Kung Fu
  • Lode Runner
  • spelunker

Old-school games, the main component of the Nintendo Switch

This leak actually suggests that everything was planned a long, long time in advance by Nintendo. Other leaks in recent years have already predicted the arrival of SNES and Nintendo 64 games, things that have actually happened: we remind you that since last December, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can spend an additional €19.99 per year to access the Pass Extension, allowing you to play a whole catalog of N64 and Mega Drive games (which continues to expand over the months).

The old school and the charm of its productions have not finished fueling the proposals of the Nintendo Switch. Only a few days ago, new clues let glimpse the programming of Game Boy games, still on the famous nomadic machine : in short, this policy is clearly not out of breath at Big N.
