The platform Crypto.com invested approximately several million dollars in a new advertising campaign aimed at raising awareness of the company around the world, with the participation of big names in Hollywood.

Entitled “Fortune Favors the Brave”, the campaign features the actor Matt Damon, Oscar winner. It was directed by the filmmaker Wally Pfisterwhich also won an Oscar for cinematography Inception in 2010, and produced by David Fincherwho notably served as executive producer and director of the hit series House of Cards on netflix.

Since its inception in 2016, Crypto.com has attracted more than 10 million customers worldwide, and this new ad campaign is designed to further build brand awareness: it highlights the company’s ethos “while wishing to inspire those who want to change the course of history,” according to the press release.

“The timing of this campaign coincides with the early stages of mainstream cryptocurrency adoption, an adoption we have been working to advance since our inception five years ago,” said Kris Marszalekco-founder and CEO of Crypto.com, quoted in the statement.

The project budget was not disclosed. However, according to Bloomberg, the company will spend over $100 million on the campaign. Incidentally, as noted, the crypto firm has recently partnered with Water.org, a global nonprofit whose goal is to bring clean water and sanitation to people in need, co-founded by Damon. Crypto.com has made a direct donation of $1 million to the organization to support its mission, and will continue its initiatives to encourage its customers to support this cause.

“Like what we do with Water.org, Crypto.com is a crypto platform that shares my commitment to empowering people around the world with the tools to take charge of their future,” Damon said in the press release.

The campaign will be presented in multiple formats. It will notably be shown on billboards and television around the world. It will be integrated into Crypto.com’s global sports partnerships portfolio, which includes the Formula 1I’cfuthe French football club Paris Saint Germainthe philadelphia 76ers of the NBA, the Montreal Canadiens of the NHLthe esports team fnaticI’Aston Martin Cognizant Formula 1 Teamas well as Lega Serie Athe Italian football league, according to the platform.
